Each Week Room 10 read a Big Book 

What are Big Books and Why read Big Books?

Big Books are literally 'Big Books'. Large print and colourful illustrations that allow the whole classroom to share good stories, memorable poems and interesting books that engage all learners. 
Big Books enrich oral language development through my modelled reading, through risk-free participation by the children in subsequent readings and discussions, and through the meaningful teaching of skills within context — all positive and therefore powerful learning experiences.
