Inquiry Term 4 Room 15 2016
The world’s indigenous peoples have changed over time……
- Your task is to choose an indigenous community that you would like to find out more about. For example….(The Inuit people, Maori people, Aboriginal People, Native Americans, People of Nepal or Masai Tribe.
- You can use kiddle (kids google search engine) to research for information or go to your local library.
- This will be done in class time. You can use ipads and chrome books to search information and to create your slides.
These are the questions you must answer in your mini project.
- What is an indigenous person?
- The indigenous group you have chosen and give examples of what they eat, what they wear and where they live. You might like to use a table or a Y chart to show your ideas.
- Use a venn diagram to compare and contrast your tribe against another tribe.
- Other interesting facts that you have found out about your tribe.
- Your wondering…. What ‘thick question’ do you have?
Please feel free to use photographs to support your findings.
You might like to present this on a google slide, doc or in a poster format. Good luck! I can’t wait to see what information you find out! We will present this to our parents and families in Week 9.
