Digital Citizenship Day - Term 2

On Friday we had our Digital Citizenship Day. We learnt about how to be safe, responsible and respectful online.  In our first session we discussed who do we trust when we feel unsafe online. We feel safe asking Mrs Eade, an adult in the classroom and our parents at home. We always ask permission first before use a device at school and at home. We make sure we only go on the apps and websites that are for children. Room 15 now know that everywhere we go online we leave a 'digital footprint' behind, so we must be careful when searching information and entering our passwords. We also learnt how to use google and kiddle (kids google) to search for information safely. Here are some photos of us using our chrome books and ipads in the classroom.

Spelling and reading with our buddy class Room 8

Here are some photos of us with Room 8. They come and see us every Friday to test us on our spelling words. Afterwards we get to read to them or share some of our learning. These photos are from last term when we had our white out mufti day.

New class email

Hi everyone,

We have been practising how to use google slides to present our information reports in class. Here is our class email and password for you to use. All you have to do is find your folder in the drive and then you can access your slides or create a new one. Please come and see me if you don't know how to do this or need some help.
